The 85 kgf turbojet engine is engineered as a compact power unit for small fixed-wing aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. Under International Standard Atmosphere conditions at sea level with Mach 0, it delivers a maximum static thrust of approximately 90 kgf, achieving a thrust-to-weight ratio of 8.1.
The engine assembly comprises an air inlet, axial compressor, annular combustion chamber, turbine stage, and converging exhaust nozzle, forming a complete and integrated propulsion system.
The engine operates on the standard turbojet cycle. Ambient air is ingested through the air inlet, pressurized by the compressor, and delivered to the combustion chamber. Inside the chamber, fuel is injected and mixed with the compressed air for continuous combustion, producing high-temperature, high-pressure working gas.
This gas first drives the turbine to extract shaft power, which is transmitted through the turbine shaft to continuously drive the compressor. The remaining gas enthalpy is converted to kinetic energy in the exhaust nozzle, generating the net thrust required for aircraft propulsion.
The engine control system is centered on an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which executes full-cycle control logic including engine start, acceleration scheduling, deceleration limiting, steady-state speed governing, and normal shutdown according to pilot or flight controller commands.
Under varying actual flight conditions — covering different altitudes, flight speeds, and ambient climatic environments — the ECU maintains stable engine operation at a specified target speed during steady-state phases through closed-loop regulation of the fuel pump's fuel delivery. This prevents over-speed, over-temperature, and surge across the entire operating envelope.
